E-RECYCLE INFORMATION
ELECTRONICS RECYCLING:
2nd & 4th Saturday of each month
Time: 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Location: Behind the Public Works Facility (100 Theodore Dr., Oswego)
UPDATE: As of August 11, 2007, the E-Recycle program has recycled 117 tons (or 234,000 lbs.) of electronics! Thank you to everyone who has donated and to everyone who plans on donating. Together you are keeping tons of electronics out of the landfills; over 8 tons of electronics were collected in June alone!
The following items are accepted at E-Recycle events: Computers, monitors, all types of memory sticks, printers, printer cartridges, laptops and laptop accessories, all hard drives, power cables, all networking equipment (hubs, routers, servers, switches, etc.), fax machines, photocopiers, radios, microwaves, printers, keyboards, speakers, and cell phones will be accepted. Please do your part to keep these items out of the landfills.
The program is free to all citizens with the exception of televisions. For TVs that measure up to 19” there is a $5 charge, for TVs 19” and larger there is a $10 charge.
